The Story of PeggyRain

The origin of PeggyRain® stems from a conversation between CEO and Founder, Colin O’Brien and his endeared mother Margaret. After Colin’s previous project had been patented, forcing him to cease development, Colin was quite disheartened and seeking inspiration, so he asked his mother Margaret a simple question. “What could I create to make your life easier”. She responded by describing how irritating it was for her to run out and fetch all the washing off the clothesline every time it started to rain. 

This was the moment the idea of PeggyRain® was born, Peggy being the Irish for Margaret. Colin immersed himself in the product, keeping environmental sustainability in mind. His hard work has now evolved into the genius never seen before ‘PeggyRain — Has You Covered.

Living in Cork, she has just graduated from Food Marketing and Entrepreneurship at University College Cork. She joined the PeggyRain® team in January 2021 as a Digital Marketing Intern and she relishes everything that she has so far learned.
